Oregon State announces 2025 football schedule

Oregon State announces 2025 football schedule

The Oregon State Beavers have announced their full 2025 football schedule, which includes seven home games and 12 total games.

The 2025 season will be Oregon State’s second as a member of the two-team Pac-12 group along with the Washington State Cougars, following the departure of ten teams to other conferences. NCAA bylaws require conferences to have at least eight members, but also provide for a two-year grace period if a conference falls below the eight-team threshold.

The Pac-12 has added five teams to its football roster, but that won’t become official until 2026. Meanwhile, Oregon State has essentially filled out an independent football schedule for the 2025 season.

Oregon State’s 2025 schedule begins with back-to-back home games at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon, against California on August 30 and Fresno State on September 6. The Beavers will then travel to back-to-back games against Texas Tech on September 13th and Oregon on September 20th.

The Houston Cougars are scheduled to visit Reser Stadium on September 27th before the Beavers return to the road for a cross-country visit against Appalachian State on October 4th.

After the first opener of the season, Oregon State welcomes FCS Lafayette to Corvallis on October 18th, followed by Wake Forest on October 25th.

Oregon State and Washington State will play a home-and-home season series in 2025, beginning November 1st in Corvallis and ending with the regular season finale at GESA Field at Martin Stadium in Pullman, Washington on November 1st. November ends. 29.

But before that second Washington State contest, Oregon State will host Sam Houston on November 8th, visit Tulsa on November 15th and enjoy its second opener on November 22nd.

Prior to today’s announcement, there were four available appointments in the state of Oregon. These were filled with additional games against Lafayette, Sam Houston, Tulsa and a second game against Washington State.

“We are excited to have a second straight year of seven dates at Reser Stadium,” said Scott Barnes, vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics at Oregon State. “We have decided to play two games against Washington State to maximize the strength of this schedule, which includes exciting home and away games.”
