Police allege Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter used meth before her arrest

Chelsea O’DonnellDaughter of a comedian Rosie O’DonnellShe faces three felonies and two misdemeanors after she was pulled over earlier this month while driving a vehicle owned by a woman who has a warrant for her arrest.

Chelsea, 27, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, drug possession, bail jumping, obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Oconto County Jail on Oct. 11 and released on bond three days later.

During an early morning traffic stop, officers said Chelsea was visibly nervous and refused to look police in the eye.

“I asked Chelsea where she was going tonight and at first she said she didn’t know, then she seemed to catch herself and said ‘to a friend,'” a police report obtained by said Us weekly. “I asked Chelsea who her friend was and she said she didn’t know. I asked the passenger for his ID, but he didn’t answer and kept looking straight ahead. I asked Chelsea if there were any illegal drugs in the vehicle. Chelsea stated she was unsure whether that was the case or not.”

According to the police who stopped her, Chelsea has an outstanding drug charge for multiple counts of drug possession and running a drug trafficking business.

After asking Chelsea to get out of the car, she attempted to throw a meth pipe into the nearby Oconto River, but failed when the pipe bounced off a fence, hit the pavement and broke. A police dog also sniffed the car and discovered illegal narcotics.

Officers searched her vehicle and found used needles in the center console that Chelsea claimed could belong to her passenger. Kyle Sutrick. Sutrick was also arrested.

Chelsea was later taken to a local emergency room where she was asked to remove items hidden in her bra to store as evidence. Police said she took a meth pipe, a pill bottle with pills in it and a baggie of what appeared to be methamphetamine. Pills seized included oxycodone, morphine and hydrocodone.

Her arrest came after Chelsea called 911 and was charged in Marinette County on Sept. 10 with child neglect, possession of methamphetamine and operating a drug smuggling place. According to the search warrant complaint filed by Marinette County Deputy Michael Kahles and received from UsThe sheriff’s office received “continuous information that Chelsea was actively using and trafficking meth from her residence.”

In the same report, officers described her home as “disgusting and unsanitary,” noting that “the overall appearance of the home inside and out” was “unkempt and dirty,” and noting a “strong odor of animal urine and feces” and “rotting garbage.” ”

Another MP went on to describe the house as “horrible” and “disgusting; Throughout the house I saw spoiled food, dirty, moldy dishes, milk that smelled so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used feminine hygiene products, unclean underwear…and blood stains and used razor blades on the floor.”

An officer observed “used hypodermic needles and meth pipes in plain sight” in the room of Chelsea’s 11-month-old son, Atlas, whom she shares with her boyfriend Jacob Nelund.

Chelsea also has daughters Skylar Rose, 5, Riley, 3, and Avery Lynn, 2, with her ex Jacob Bourassa.

When police spoke to Chelsea while executing the search warrant, they noted that she exhibited “numerous signs of recent methamphetamine use” and described her as “nervous, sweating profusely, and…” [having] dilated pupils that respond slowly to light.”

Over the weekend, Rosie, 62, broke her silence about Chelsea’s arrest in October on Instagram, where she posted a photo of Chelsea with one of her children.

“Chelsea is in the news today – this is a photo from a better time – here is the family comment,” Rosie wrote. “Unfortunately this is nothing new to our family – Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we all hope she finds a way out of this deadly disease #💔 #love #alanon 10/19/24.”

Chelsea is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 4 in Marinette County and Nov. 7 in Oconto County.
