MPD is searching for man accused of robbing MLGW employee

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) employee while he was on the job.

According to police, the robbery occurred on Tuesday, September 24, in broad daylight.

According to police, the utility worker was approached by a man wearing a mask and an orange shirt who demanded at gunpoint that the victim lie on the ground.

The suspect searched the MLGW employee’s pockets and stole several items.

According to police, other suspects may have been involved in the robbery.
