AL/MS All-Star Playlist Released

There are few greater honors in Alabama high school football than being selected to play in the annual Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Classic.

The game has featured hundreds of Division I recruits, college All-Americans and NFL draft picks over the past 38 years since the game’s inception. It often highlights prospects who are committed to in-state schools like Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi and Mississippi State, as well as other SEC and Power 4 programs.

This year’s Yellowhammer State class is once again loaded with talent, with 19 players rated as four- or five-star recruits in the On3 Industry Rankings.

Many of them will take part in this year’s game, which is scheduled to take place on December 14th in Mobile.

The Tigers and Crimson Tide are well represented on the state’s big stage

The Alabama side has 10 Auburn commitments and three Alabama commitments, as well as players committed to Texas, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Arkansas, USC, Florida, Miami and elsewhere.

All nine of the Tigers’ in-state commitments are scheduled, including the four-star running back Alvin Hendersonone of the state’s most prolific rushers of all time.

Henderson led the nation with 68 total touchdowns last season and set the state single-season rushing record with 3,523 yards on 225 carries. Over his career, he has accumulated 9,735 rushing yards and is just 104 away from breaking the state rushing record set by Alexandria’s Mac Campbell from 1993 to 1997.

He is also joined by fellow Tigers: four-star safety Derick SmithThree-star lineman Spencer DowlandFour-star defender Antonio Coleman, Jourdin Crawford, Jared Smith And Malik Autryas well as linebacker Jakaleb Faulkand securities Eric Winters And Anquon Fegans.

Representing the Crimson Tide are four-star running backs Anthony RogersFour-star offensive player Micah DeBoseInterior designer Forest Rep.
