Tony Schiavone brought Adam Page along for an interview as the show went live at the arena. Hangman took the microphone from him and spoke for a moment before Colten Gunn attacked him from behind.

Juice Robinson and Jay White showed up to save Colten as Page took control. Page limped as he fled up the ramp, and White said he would always have his number.

In this week’s first matchup, MVP accompanied Benjamin to the ring for his fight against Guevara. Benjamin threw Guevara into the air with a crotch lift suplex to establish dominance.

Although The Spanish God was able to go on the offensive a little at times, this was a performance that was designed to make Benjamin look like a dangerous competitor, and they succeeded.

Guevara is a great flyer and Benjamin is a talented all-round player, so they put on an entertaining show in their first ever singles match. The former TNT champion played against a plucky underdog who received a lot of support from the crowd, and that made Benjamin’s win that much better.
