Breaking news: Samsung releases stable One UI 6 Watch (Wear OS 5) for the Galaxy Watch 6

There’s some exciting news for Samsung Galaxy owners. According to the latest report, you could try out the new One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 much sooner than we thought. We found information from two different sources, each claiming to support our expectations.

The first important piece of information comes from a well-known tipster, @samsonsirji, who has claimed to have insider information directly from conversations with Samsung’s One UI development team.

Samsung’s development team is reportedly pushing to complete a “largely stable” build of One UI 7.0 by the end of October 2024, as reported on X. Specifically, the company has instructed its development team to complete a stable version of the One UI 7.0 beta, without any serious issues, by October 31, 2024.

Additionally, another reputable source in the Samsung world, Sammobile, claimed that One UI 7 is undergoing significant changes, so a video shared from the Samsung Developers Conference (SDC) 2024 is already out of date. Samsung is reportedly actively refining and changing the design and possibly features of One UI 7 at a rate faster than usual updates.

Information from various sources, including insights from people who had hands-on experience at SDC 2024, indicates that many of the visual elements originally shown have since been changed. Changes include new icons, a redesigned notification shade, redesigned quick toggles, and a redesigned camera interface.

The beta program is expected to initially be available for the Galaxy S24 series and may expand to other current high-end devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, with plans to later expand to older models.
