Vote in the presidential election and then accept the result

Vote in the presidential election and then accept the result

As our country’s presidential election approaches, I think about all the elections I have participated in in my life. I believe in our electoral process and who the people will elect. I am outraged at how name-calling and despicable rhetoric have become commonplace among candidates for this country’s highest office.

Both major candidates are now reacting like this. That wasn’t always the case. There is no reason or place for this.

As we elect our next leader, I realize that no one can take matters into their own hands. They need the support of Congress. I don’t believe the candidates’ promises or the commercials I see. Some politicians will say almost anything to get elected or re-elected and keep their job. The lies are disgusting.

I urge everyone to vote to exercise their right to elect our country’s next leader. I urge everyone to accept the results of our election without question. We are the United States of America. We don’t believe in a dictatorship. We do not believe in overturning the honest election results, as was the case on January 6th after the last election. We are better and smarter than that.

I pray for a peaceful transition of the new presidency. I pray that the Lord above will bless whoever the people of our country choose to lead our country with wisdom, patience, resilience, empathy, strength and the ability to lead our country in a time when America The whole world must shine as a symbol of freedom.

I will accept whoever the people elect and pray that we all do. We must unite behind who the people elect to lead our country. Whether we like them and their agenda or not, they will be our president.
