Thursday’s volleyball schedule includes the regular season finale for MHHS

Thursday’s high school volleyball schedule includes the regular season finale for Mountain Home. The Lady Bombers will be in Jonesboro for a road trip with Nettleton. The junior varsity game begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game.

Elsewhere, regional tournament operations for the smaller schools in Arkansas will come to an end.

The Class 2A East Regional Tournament concludes at Izard County High School in Brockwell. The host Lady Cougars will face Piggott at 5 for third place and Cotter will face Marshall at 7 in the championship game.

Valley Springs will compete for third place in the Class 3A East Regional Tournament in Hoxie. The Lady Tigers will face Manila at 5 p.m.

District play continues in Missouri, and after a first-round bye, Hollister will play its opener in the Class 3 District 11 tournament in Houston. The Lady Tigers will face Willow Springs in the semifinals at 6 p.m.
