Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign in Houston ahead of Election Day on November 5th

HOUSTON — Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to return to Houston on Friday, Oct. 25, for a last-minute campaign push ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.

The event, which runs from 3 to 8 p.m., is part of Democrats’ efforts to engage voters and encourage early voting.

While details on the exact venue are still limited, those interested in attending the event are encouraged to register for updates.

This will be Harris’ second visit to Houston this year, following her trip in July where she attended a series of events on important issues such as voting rights and women’s health.

This visit is particularly significant as it is the first visit 30 years since a presidential candidate campaigned in Houston so close to Election Day. Harris had previously campaigned in Texas during a three-city tour in 2020 while running for vice president in the final week of early voting.
