Ben Simmons Revenge Tour got off to a slow start

Ben played 24 minutes and scored six points on 3-4 shooting. He dished out eight assists, grabbed five rebounds, blocked a shot and committed six turnovers and five personal fouls. He looked like a guy who hadn’t played in eight months, but even then you can see him doing the same crap in this clip as he did here. He makes a nice backdoor cut and then blows a layup that he probably could have dunked. Then there’s a pick-and-roll where he decides to turn around and throw the ball back out wide instead of challenging Clint Capela at the rim. The final sequence in the video is a 1-on-1 opportunity against Onyeka Okongwu and he throws a cross-court pass instead. These are the mental challenges he faced during his time in Philadelphia, the decision-making deficiencies that have nothing to do with his physical health.
