The 2024-25 Serie A season returns with a bang as the usual giants look to challenge for the title while other clubs hope they can do what Bologna did last season and surprisingly qualify for the Champions League . Inter and Juventus appear to be the favorites to win the league on paper, but teams like AC Milan and Napoli will be hoping to spoil the party in another exciting season.

Game of the week: Inter vs. Juventus

The Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus takes place in Milan this Sunday, with the Nerazzurri hosting coach Thiago Motta’s side for one of the most anticipated games of the season. The Nerazzurri have won four straight in all competitions and, despite Napoli’s recent performances, need another win to cement their status as favorites at the top of the table. Juventus, on the other hand, is coming off its first defeat of the season against Stuttgart and has to react despite the injuries.
