Frisch’s Big Boy restaurants are named in eviction lawsuits

Frisch’s Big Boy says it will close an unspecified number of its nearly 80 remaining locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana after its landlord revealed in court documents that it plans to force the restaurant chain out of “more than 20” locations.

The company blamed “unforeseen circumstances” but declined to elaborate on its problems. Meanwhile, court documents show several locations are behind on their rent in lawsuits filed by the company’s landlord, Orlando-based NNN Reit Inc.:

  • 4765 Montgomery Road in Norwood.
  • 9070 Plainfield Road in Blue Ash.
  • 9830 Colerain Ave. in Colerain Township.
  • 4227 Bridgetown Road in Cheviot.
  • 12150 Mason Montgomery in Sycamore Township.
  • 11990 Chase Plaza in Forest Park.
  • 5351 North Bend Road in Green Township.
  • 7706 Beechmont Ave. in Anderson Township.
  • 5202 Delhi Ave. in Delhi Township.
  • 1181 Stone Drive in Harrison.
  • 1283 State Route 28 in Loveland.
  • 551 W. Plane St. in Bethel.

NNN owns 66 fresh properties, according to the portfolio on its website.
