A porn star tried to debunk Tesla’s bulletproof claims by shooting his own Cybertruck

Adult film star Dante Colle recorded himself He shot his Tesla Cybertruck to test whether it was actually bulletproof – and was pretty disappointed.

Elon Musk has claimed for years that his Cybertrucks are bulletproof. He markets the vehicle as being able to protect you from gunfire if you ever happen to be involved in a violent attack.

Videos from VICE

But after Colle fired his 9mm pistol at the truck in the middle of an open field, he quickly discovered that his $100,000 Tesla electric vehicle wasn’t as bulletproof as he had hoped. Fuck off and find out, right?

When the bullet in Colle’s video went through the bed of the truck, he screamed “Shit!” and threw his (loaded) pistol to the ground – a careless act that someone on Instagram pointed out.

“Bro rlly dropped a loaded gun,” one user commented, and another replied, “When I realized he had done that I squirmed in my seat.”

In the video, Colle and his friends inspected the vehicle while the person filming the video joked, “I don’t think it’s bulletproof, Dante.”

To be fair, the bullet got stuck in the vehicle without actually penetrating it. So… maybe it really is may prevent you from being shot? Unclear.

On a second attempt, Colle takes position and hits the Cyertruck again, this time from the side. The second bullet actually ricocheted off the truck, leaving only a dent and a scratch.

“It worked!” Colle shouted in the video.

This isn’t the first time someone has verified Musk’s claims. YouTuber Zack Nelson shared a video of himself shooting a Cybertruck with a .22, a .17, a few 9mm, as well as a .223 and a .50 caliber cartridge. While the truck held up fairly well to some shots, it stood little chance against the .17 caliber rifle, the AR-15, and the .50 caliber weapon.

Adin Ross, another popular internet personality, also streamed himself shooting his Cybertruck – which angered many people.

Anyway, Colle’s test may have “worked”, but still stay out of trouble and please don’t try this at home.
