Shooting near a bar in East St. Paul leaves victim with life-threatening injuries

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Someone was shot in the stomach late Wednesday night on the city’s east side, according to St. Paul police.

Officers were called to the Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood near the St. Paul Saloon on Hudson Road near Earl Street shortly after 11 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they discovered a vehicle “leaving the scene” and “conducted a traffic stop” where they found the victim inside.

According to police, the victim was taken to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting. There were no arrests.
