Dana White gives an update on the fighter who has asked Presser for a contract

An undefeated but unknown fighter used the UFC 308 press conference to ask Dana White for a contract… and it seems it paid off hugely!

The UFC honcho, live from Power Slap 9joined Babcock on the TMZ Sports TV show (airs every evening on FS1) … what the guys talked about Dorobshoch Nabotovis the bold strategy to land a contract with the world’s most popular MMA promotion.

In case you missed it… Dana was hosting a media event in Abu Dhabi to promote UFC 308 when Nabotov, sitting in the stands in front of fans and media, stepped to the microphone and gave his pitch to the UFC CEO.

“I am an undefeated top athlete from Tajikistan. “Nabotov Dorobshokh, nine wins, zero losses,” the fighter said.

“Dana, I have no question, I came here at short notice for a fight. I’ve never had a manager, I’ve done everything by myself, please give me a chance. Dana, I want to fight in the UFC. “Please give me a chance, I’m ready, please give me, Dana.”

Bold strategy, Cotton. But did it work? We asked White.

“Actually, I’m flying to Korea Dana White: Looking for a fight on YouTube. The Korean zombie puts on a show. There he started his own doctorate. December 14th,” Dana explained.

“I will have that [Korean Zombie] Put the boy on the map and we’ll find out what he’s got. If he wins that night, I’ll sign him!”

FYI, Nabotov, per Tapologyshows that he has been fighting professionally since the beginning of 2018 and has compiled a record of 7-0 in promotions across Russia. He hasn’t played against anyone of international standing, but that could soon change.
