Lil Uzi Vert Announces “EA2” Album: Watch the Trailer

Lil Uzi Vert season has returned. The versatile Philly rapper announced plans for her EA2 album on Wednesday (October 24), which will serve as a follow-up to 2020 Eternal Atake.

Uzi released an atmospheric trailer for the project, detailing his journey to another planet. “On March 6, 2020, Lil Uzi Vert mysteriously disappeared,” the screen reads. “Although what happened that day was never confirmed, believers believed it was the fulfillment of a long-awaited prophecy… Eternal Atake.”

The “Generation Now” signee is transported in a UFO to another dimension, where his memory is extracted and erased by a group of natives of this unknown planet, who appear to be possessed by a purple glow in their eyes. The clip ends with Uzi waking up to her new life wearing a pink fur hat.

Lil Uzi Vert also revealed this EA2 Cover artwork depicting the possessed women seen in the trailer, their skin glowing purple and wearing demonic smiles.

According to a pre-save link on Apple Music, EA2 is expected to be released on November 1st. Uzi’s first three albums all reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 and they will attempt to do so for a fourth consecutive year later this year.

Uzi may have teased the album’s intro track in the form of a TV theme song. In the funny 30-second teaser, a woman sings, “Here’s the story of a man named Uzi/Who’s known for his diamonds and his style/From the street to the stage, the boy’s busy/He makes music that makes you smile.” brings/ Little Uzi Vert, he is the one to see/ He brings you and me joy/ Little Uzi Vert, he is the one to see.”
