Some big title fights to watch out for in the upcoming PLE

WWE is preparing to celebrate the spooky season this weekend with its annual Halloween Havoc event. Unlike previous years, this is a standalone premium live event on WWE programming and not a dedicated weekly TV show. After the last edition of NXT, the night of gimmick fights features two new items on the program, including a title match that will be held under the “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” rules.

Midway through the October 22nd NXT show, it was announced that Kelani Jordan would face a member of Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne and Jaxmyn Nyx) at Halloween Havoc for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

In the main event of the NXT show, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne in a tag team match. After the match, Jayne spun the wheel on the ramp, which got stuck on the Spinner’s Choice requirement.

Since Zaria made her debut at the same time, no further details regarding the planned title match were announced on NXT. Furthermore, it is not yet clear which member of Fatal Influence will face Jordan for the title.

Jordan is the only wrestler to win the North American Women’s Championship, having won it at NXT Battleground earlier this year.

She has been a strong babyface champion throughout her career and has had several clean and successful title defenses.

The Halloween Havoc PLE will also feature a grudge match, pitting Chase U’s Andre Chase against Ridge Holland in an ambulance match.

Holland turned his back on Chase at the WWE No Mercy PLE last month, putting him out of action for many weeks. NXT brings back Halloween Havoc 2024 as a WWE premium live event on Sunday, October 27th at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA.

Trick Williams (c) vs. Ethan Page – Devil’s Playground Match for the NXT Championship

Trick Williams will defend his NXT Championship against Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match. Williams, who calls himself “Two-Time Trick,” is enjoying a second reign as NXT’s top title, but standing in his way is the same superstar he dethroned: the boisterous Page.

On the October 15 edition of NXT, All Ego won a no. 1 Contenders Triple Threat Match against Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans, spun the Halloween Havoc Wheel and hit Williams with a spotlight.

The wheel landed on a Devil’s Playground match, suggesting that the bitter opponents would face off in a horrific rematch.

Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Oba Femi – Tables, Ladders and Terror Match for the NXT North American Championship

Tony D’Angelo will defend the NXT North American Championship against the monster Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders and Scares match.

On the October 8 NXT broadcast in St. Louis, The Don broke The Ruler’s record run as North American Champion, ushering in a new era for the D’Angelo Family.

The next week, Femi faced D’Angelo and sought a rematch. After spinning the Halloween Havoc Wheel, the two competed in a tables, ladders, and scares match.

Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer vs Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will team with Cora Jade to face Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer in a dream tag team match.

Jade returned to NXT and assisted her former tag teammate Perez in defending her championship on the October 1 CW debut episode in Chicago, forcing Giulia to recruit NXT’s newest star, Stephanie Vaquer, to her cause.

Will Perez and Jade prove they can dominate NXT, or will the newbies defeat the pompous NXT veterans?

Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland – Ambulance Match

Andre Chase promises retribution at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc. Ridge Holland previously brutally attacked Chase when they lost the NXT Tag Team Championship at WWE NXT No Mercy. Chase appeared on the October 15 edition of WWE NXT, rescuing Riley Osborne from Holland.

In a recorded message on the October 15 edition of WWE NXT, Andre Chase challenged Ridge Holland to an Ambulance Match at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 27. Holland later accepted the challenge, claiming that he would destroy Chase U for good.

Kelani Jordan (c) vs. a member of Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx) – NXT Women’s North American Championship Spinner’s Choice Match

Kelani Jordan will defend her North American Women’s Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc. Your opponent will be a member of Fatal Influence, either Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne or Jazmyn Nyx. The trio decided not to tell Kelani who would challenge her.

At the end of 10/22 NXT on the CW, Jayne spun the Halloween Havoc wheel to set the terms of the title contest. It landed on Spinner’s Choice, so Jordan has no idea who she’ll be defending her championship against or what style the game will be.

  • In Canada, NXT airs live on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sportsnet 360 and OLN.
  • In the UK and Ireland, the show will air live exclusively on WWE Network at 1am on Monday
  • In India, NXT will air live on Sony Sports Network (Sony Liv, Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 1 HD, Sony Ten 3, Sony Ten 4 and Sony Ten 4 HD) on Monday at 5:30 am IST.
  • In Saudi Arabia, the show airs on Shahid on Monday at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
  • In Australia, the show will air live on Fox8 on Monday at 10am AEST.
  • In France, the show airs on Monday at 1am on AB1.
