Man killed in Dallas County shooting

DALLAS COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting.

According to authorities, on Friday, October 18, units responded to a report of shots fired in the area Southside High School in Selma around 11 p.m

A man was found by police in the area Water Avenue and Broad Street with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Devante Tashon Hall of Birmingham. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators determined the first shooting occurred in the parking lot of Southside High School.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about this deadly shooting to come forward.
