Menendez Brothers Decision Live Stream with LA County DA George Gascón

LA County District Attorney George Gascon is expected to announce its decision on whether to recommend Eric And Lyle Menendez Get out of jail free and we’ll broadcast it live here.

Gascón could choose one of two paths – either ask a judge to sentence the brothers to time served, or ask the judge to overturn the murder conviction and impose a voluntary manslaughter conviction.

The maximum sentence for involuntary manslaughter in California is 11 years, and the brothers have served nearly 35 years – so if the judge goes that route, they would be released.

Thursday’s press conference comes after Gascón announced earlier this month that he was reevaluate the case after new evidence was presented – a letter Erik wrote to his cousin Andy Cano Months before the murders in which he says his father Jose still bothering him.

The case was also looked after again Roy Rossello – claimed a former member of the band Menudo Jose had sexually abused him.

Rossellós Claims Join what Erik and Lyle said about their father during the first trial. That trial ended with a hung jury and a judge barred them from presenting the claims at their retrial.

In 1996, both brothers were sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 1989 murders of their parents.

Currently, the brothers’ next court date is November 26th, just two days before Thanksgiving – and the family is hoping the duo can be there.

More than 20 members of her family – both on her mother’s side and her father’s side – appeared at a press conference just last week to plead for her release.

On the other hand, a reporter who covered the first trial told TMZ that he believes so Brothers should be in prison for life.
