Spurs release new tournament court design for the season

Tip-off for Spurs’ 2024-25 season is just a few hours away, but before that happens, Spurs have announced their spot for their regular-season tournament (aka the Emirates NBA Cup), and so will I Don’t lie – it looks pretty cute.

While last season’s course was beautiful (and not nearly as loud or taxing on the eyes as others), it was confusing at first since it was intended as a tribute to the World’s Fair in the city, but the 1960s atmosphere wasn’t for everyone Matter. This season the pitch sticks with the more traditional Spurs colors with a charcoal and black aesthetic accented by gold in the end zones to match the Emirates Cup at midfield.

Spurs have not yet released their City Edition jerseys for the tournament and season, but leaks suggest they will be similar to last season’s but will have a light teal color instead of ‘while’. Assuming this is true, I have somewhat mixed feelings about it, but as usual it will probably grow on me over time.

What do you think, Spurs fans? Do you like the new court design? And what’s more important…

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME SPURS BASKETBALL??!!
