Linkin Park has released a music video for their single “Over Each Other.”

Only a few weeks remain until the release of newly revived nu-metal band Linkin Park From zerotheir first new album since 2017 Another light and their first following the death of singer Chester Bennington in 2017. To further promote the album (despite still being a huge band themselves), they released a new single titled “Over Each Other.”

Directed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn, who directed the videos for “Numb,” “From The Inside,” “What I’ve Done” and “Somewhere I Belong,” the video is dramatic as hell, what with Overall tone of the video fits the bill. It’s the first real showcase of Emily Armstrong’s vocals, as Mike Shinoda also featured quite heavily on the other tracks.

Everything coming up for Linkin Park – the new album and the recently announced festival dates – comes at a time when the band has been under fire for weeks over new singer Emily Armstrong’s connection to Scientology, her one-time support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson and others Criticisms include complaints from Bennington’s surviving family members about how the introduction of the reunion was handled.

Despite all the controversy and hand-wringing, Mike Shinoda said that this new version of Linkin Park isn’t so much a reunion as it is meant to “start a new chapter.” Whatever the case, despite all the questions and uncertainties from certain camps, everything goes down.
