Section of 50th Street closed to repair water leak – CentralAlbertaOnline.com

Motorists in Red Deer are being advised of a traffic delay on 50 (Ross) Street until tomorrow (October 25) as crews repair a water leak.

Traffic is being detoured via 45 Avenue to 53 Street as 50 Street is closed from 45 Avenue to 47 Avenue.

City officials expect the section of 50 Street to open during business hours tomorrow. However, they advise drivers to avoid the area if possible and to give themselves enough time over the next 24 or more hours to reach their destination.

Motorists are advised to heed all signs, follow detour signage and slow down when approaching the area.
