According to Oscar De La Hoya, Tim Tszyu’s loss was due to poor PBC matchmaking

On this week’s episode of Clap Back Thursday, hosted by Oscar De La Hoya, the Golden Boy promoter takes the opportunity to take aim at PBC’s recent setback with Tim Tszyu’s loss, while De La Hoya then delves into the origins his beef reminds rival companies.

“Last weekend, Tim Tszyu was brutally knocked out in the third round against a relatively unknown opponent,” says De La Hoya. “I have nothing but respect for Tim Tszyu. I really love the guy. This is just another example of PBC’s terrible matchmaking skills.

“Let’s take a trip into the past. So almost 10 years ago I had several traitors in my office, idiots. My company Golden Boy Promotions has built all the top PBC fighters including Errol Spence, Deontay Wilder, The Charlo Brothers, Danny Garcia, Abner Mares, Leo Santa Cruz and the list goes on.

“But those disloyal idiots in my office waited for my fighters’ contracts to expire and handed them over to the new startup funding company called PBC. Hundreds of millions of dollars were raised and PBC attempted to take over the entire boxing industry. And they failed miserably.

“All the fighters they stole from us were well on their way to Hall of Fame careers under Golden Boy’s leadership. And now look at her. They fight once every three years. PBC ruined her career. There’s a sinking ship over there. Karma takes a long time, but it always comes.”
