New versions of George Harrison’s “Be Here Now” from the reissue of Living in the Material World released


Two new versions of the George Harrison The track “Be Here Now” was just released, and both will appear on the upcoming 50th anniversary reissue of Harrison’s second solo album. Life in the material world.

The Harrison estate just released something called “Take 8” version recorded on October 12, 1972, as well as a new mix by the Grammy Award-winning engineer Paul Hicks. Both are available now via digital points of sale.

Coinciding with the publications is a new videoincluding art from the guru Ram DassBe here now Book.

The new edition for the 50th anniversary of Life in the material world will be released on November 15th in various formats, including a super deluxe edition with 12 previously unreleased recordings, a remixed version of the album and a Blu-ray with the album in Dolby Atmos; and a 7-inch single of a previously unreleased recording of “Sunshine Life for Me (Sail Away Raymond)” featuring Harrison Beatles Bandmate Ringo Starr And The band‘S Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson And Rick Danko.

There will be deluxe two-LP and two-CD editions, as well as single-CD and LP versions with limited color vinyl variants.
