The hype surrounding WWE’s biggest annual event has increased with the recent release of the WrestleMania 41 official poster. Following The Rock’s surprise return to WWE at Bad Blood, fans have speculated that The Final Boss will be in one Triple Threat Match with his cousin Roman Reigns and WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes. In response to the ever-increasing speculation, Rhodes has finally shared his thoughts on the potential matchcard.

The Bloodline saga is still a hot topic in WWE and Cody Rhodes’ narrative with the faction is almost inextricably linked. At WWE’s most recent premium live event, Bad Blood, he teamed with his former rival Roman Reigns to take on the greater threat, The New Bloodline. While they successfully defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, The Rock made a surprise appearance that potentially signaled the three-count pin for Rhodes on the first night of WrestleMania 40.

Following his appearance at the PLE, The Rock made it clear that his feud with The American Nightmare is far from over, leading to speculation as to whether The Rock will attack Rhodes as he appears to be interested in the WWE Undisputed Championship. Additionally, Reigns is another strong contender for the championship and fans believe a triple threat match would make sense in that regard.
In his recent interview with Dayna Roselli on Vegas Revealed, The American Nightmare responded to the ongoing rumor. “There are so many rumors going around. It eats up the social feed, all the different rumors about what the games might be,” Rhodes said in the interview.
He added: “The hardest thing in WWE, sports entertainment and pro wrestling in general is not winning.” [the WWE Title]the hardest part is the WrestleMania main event. I don’t care what the rumor is as long as the rumor says I’m in the main event of WrestleMania. I’m fine with that. What I can say to those keeping an eye on the rumors: I bet what they get at WrestleMania 41 is unexpected even for them… this one will be unexpected is the best way to put it, but in the best way Fall paths.”
Rhodes has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors regarding the possible ticket for the highly anticipated PLE at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19th and 20th, 2025.
