Rachel Zegler and Jack Antonoff release new song from Romeo and Juliet

songwriter and record producer Jack Antonoff and actress Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) have released the song “Man of the House”. Romeo and Juliet on Broadway. “Man of the House,” sung by Zegler and co-written with Ryan Beatty, is one of several songs Antonoff wrote for the show.

“Man of the House” was released on Shadow of the City, a record label Antonoff founded as a subsidiary of indie label Dirty Hit. The release coincides with the play’s premiere on October 24 at the Circle in the Square Theater and marks the Broadway debut of Antonoff and Zegler. Listen to “Man of the House” here.

Kit Connor plays Romeo opposite Zegler’s Juliet in this production of Shakespeare’s tragedy directed by Tony Award-winning director Sam Gold, with moves by Tony Award-winning choreographer Sonya Tayeh. Romeo + Juliet runs until February 16th.
