Marissa George speaks openly about their relationship Ramses Prashad after Love is blind.

The two met in the final seventh season Netflix dating show and even got engaged.

But shortly before they were to get married, they had a conversation and Ramses said he couldn’t keep it up and she cried when he held her in the season finale.

In a new interview Marissa spoke about their breakup and revealed that they spoke after the show, and she tried to date him again months after their breakup.

“I offered not to get married. We can stay committed or do everything on our own schedule. We don’t have to move in right away. That was never the plan anyway. We don’t have to be engaged yet. It was a hard no,” Marissa told Shine.

She revealed that she asked to continue seeing him outside of the show, but he said, “No, absolutely not.”

“Throughout the breakup – which made things worse – he couldn’t give me a real reason. To this day I don’t know if he really has a good reason. I think he was trying to get to the heart of certain things, like I listened to podcasts in the morning and sang stuff like that in the shower.” Marissa divided. “But at the time of the breakup, he just said, ‘I don’t feel at peace anymore, and I feel like our energies are being lost and I’m going to hurt you in five years, but I love you and want to be.’ with you, but it’s going too fast.’”

“And I thought, ‘Okay, let’s just not go too fast.’ You stay in DC, I’ll stay in Baltimore. But stay together.’ And he said, “No.” And that’s very hard to understand: How can you love this person so much, even though they don’t even want to be with you? Then I think it’s me because he says it’s my energy.”

After their breakup Marissa revealed that they had seen each other a few times and even talked on the phone for hours one day.

“We saw each other a few more times after that. I took the breakup really hard, as you can imagine from the scene where I’m crying and stuff. It probably took me six months to get back on track and really move on,” she said. “So I saw him a couple of times when I was in D.C., and one day we talked on the phone for about eight and a half, nine hours, and I thought we’d get back together after that. ”

“So in February or March I asked him if he wanted to get back together. I’m not really ashamed to say that because I’m someone who asks myself: if you feel it, then you feel it, what’s the worst that can happen? And he goes, ‘Nope.’ After that, we just stopped communicating,” she added.
