The Buffaloes (8-3, 9-6 overall) conclude their Valley Oak League schedule next Monday with a makeup game against Patterson at the Manteca Regional Tennis Center. A win would secure Manteca second place while Oakdale earns its third and final bid to the postseason. A loss would require a coin toss to determine the two qualifiers behind undefeated league champion Mountain House.

Reigning VOL singles champion Emma Ngo won the No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1 against Sierra’s Makayla Villalobos.

No. 2 Shreya Raman defeated Elina Nguyen 6-0, 6-1; No. 3 Michailla Springs outlasted Ruth Beedi 6-4, 1-6, 6-1; No. 5 Parm Noor defeated Xitali Gonzalez 6-0, 6-2; and No. 6 Paisley Coenenberg defeated Janessa Felix 6-0, 6-0.

Sierra’s only win came from No. 4 Munveer Dosanjh, who defeated Simar Mann 6-3, 7-5.

The hard-fought match took place at No. 1 doubles, with Manteca’s Pia Kley and Alyson Alvarado holding off Evelin Garcia and Sadie Herrera 3-6, 6-4, 10-8. The No. 2 duo Myreal Bugayong and Jada Navales prevailed 6-4, 6-4 against Nadine Yamomo and Melissa Castillo. Delialah Sanchez Torres and Rubi Sepulveda defeated Amara Kenechukwu and Niyah Pini 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 doubles.
