Sacha Baron Cohen pretends to moderate the presidential debate as Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen reprized its beloved characters Borat and Ali G last night The Tonight Showpretending to moderate a last-minute debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

Host Jimmy Fallon persuaded the actor to take the role, even though Cohen admitted he didn’t think Trump would like it. “I was trying to establish myself as a dramatic actor,” he said, donning Ali G’s signature facial hair and cap.

Cohen began the role as Ali G, speaking to the camera as if they were the presidential candidates. “Yo, Mr. Trump,” he began. “You were convicted of 32 felonies. They stole secret documents. You boned fucking porn stars. And you never paid no taxes. Respect! You are my hero!”

He only had one question for Harris: “Yo, what are you doing later?” Watching you on TV gives me a huge choice, sure.” He added, “Can I just tell you both that I’m definitely glad the next president won’t have white skin.”

Cohen then switched to Borat’s big mustache and his big jacket. He asked Trump: “Mr. Trump, sir, you say in Ohio that people eat cats and dogs. Which restaurant serves them? Can you please get me a reservation?” He pretended to talk to Harris and simply asked himself, “Why is this woman on stage?”
