Timex launches the MM6 Maison Margiela steel watch that fits around the ring finger

Stainless steel ring watch from Timex and MM6 Maison Margiela

Timex and Maison Margiela collaborate for the MM6 collection, which features a redesigned T80 steel Clock that acts as Ring watch. It looks comfortable because there is a hidden expansion band under the fully brushed stainless steel bracelet that can be adjusted to different finger sizes. When you look at the design, you notice that there is a small digital time display and directly underneath there is a mineral lens that is specifically tailored to the Maison Margiela ring watch.

This glass features a mirrored mask that shows the number sequence from zero to 23. In these rows of numbers, the number six is circled, a reference to the numerical signature MM6 and the collaboration between the Maison and the watch brand. The working base for the ring accessories is the retro-style Timex T80 watch. This is the first time that the model has a ring watch counterpart, designed by MM6 Maison Margiela.

Waterproof watch, but only to 30 meters

Stainless steel is the material for the Timex and MM6 Maison Margiela ring watches. The design teams polish it for a solid and shiny look so that the hours and minutes are visible at all times. The ring watch comes with an SR521SW battery and its time movement is digital. It also has an internal circuit that controls the ticking rate of the ring clock. But that doesn’t mean that the Maison Margiela ring watch is suitable for diving or swimming, at least up to a depth of 30 meters. Accidental splashing of water and hand washing are permitted, and wearers should avoid pressing buttons while the ring watch is wet to avoid damaging the accessories. Thanks to the stainless steel, the accessory is highly resistant to scratches, corrosion and tarnishing and is also hypoallergenic for people with skin problems.
