Former UFC champion Sean O’Malley will be the first to tell you about his open marriage. “Suga” is quite proud of his “open relationship” with his wife Danya Gonzalez – who is best known for coloring O’Malley’s elaborate hairstyle – and has repeatedly celebrated their “cool threesomes” on various podcasts…much to the chagrin of Vitor Belfort for some reason.

O’Malley’s freedom to pursue other women has taken him to a strange place: the Hawk Tuah girl’s direct messages (DMs)! Hawk Tuah, real name Haliey Welch, gained viral fame on TikTok when he made a sex joke during an interview. It spread all over the internet and now Welch has a hugely successful podcast – over 171,000 followers on YouTube! – called Say Tuah and will probably never have to have a real job again.

In a recent episode of Say TuahWelch revealed that O’Malley DM’d Welch before he ever met her. “You said UFC fighter, right?” Welch began (via SportsBible). “What’s the name of this guy who’s been sending me messages all week?” O’Malley boy? He has a child, doesn’t he? He’s so nice, he just asks, “What are you doing?” When he first DM’d me I had like five missed calls from him on Instagram – I didn’t even know you could do that!”

Perhaps O’Malley was simply impressed with Welch’s interview skills at a recent Karate Combat event. She was also seen ringside in Florida when Jake Paul beat up Mike Perry (View highlights).

O’Malley was last seen in the cage just a month ago when he handed over his bantamweight title to Merab Dvalishvili. However, the Suga Athletic Commission has overturned this defeat, which could lead to a rematch sooner or later, despite Umar Nurmagomedov’s pleas.
