Pras selects his head and heart picks for each position

I’m Pras and welcome to my weekly series for SportsCasting that I’ll be on I present my thoughts on my FPL GW9 tips.

For comparison: In the last 12 seasons of FPL I achieved four top 10km finishes, including two top 5km finishes. My season The average over the last seven seasons is around 21,000.

Every week I talk about captaincy and 2 picks per position. One of the sensible choice, the head, if you will.

The other is the loner or the heart. The idea is to give you two options per position, either to risk something and become different or to be different safe and sensible.

Pras’ FPL GW9 tips

captain

Head – Today’s article will simply have a Man City theme because this is one of the most one-sided matches we’ll get all season.

Despite their good form, Man City go into this game with well over three expected goals. Erling Haaland hasn’t played in the Premier League for three straight seasons now, but with a brace in the Champions League I’m tempted to become not just captain but triple captain of the Norwegian this week.

With Liverpool and Arsenal facing each other, there are no strong alternatives anyway.

Heart – Bryan Mbeumo has scored in every home game this season, with five goals already in four appearances. In addition to his set-pieces and penalty-taking ability, he also has the most key passes of his teammates.

defender

Head – I’ll stick with last week’s favorite, Josko Gvardiol, who scored this great goal reward my choice. That’s two goals in the last three games, he is the best choice this week for me.

Southampton have only scored three away goals this season, their fewest in the top flight – so it’s also a good week for an elusive clean sheet.

Heart – Pedro Porro plays against Crystal Palace, who were particularly weak up front Goal rate this season, and no team creates fewer great chances.

He even started taking it a few corners, which further increases its attractiveness.

midfielder

Head – See the captaincy section on Mbeumo above.

Heart – Cole Palmer has 11 offensive rebounds and averages 8.6 points per game in his eight appearances so far this season.

He also ranks second for expected goal contribution (xGI) among all players. With the Liverpool game behind us, he’ll be covering a lot more in these articles in the future.

Forward

Head – See the captaincy section on Haaland above.

Heart – Chris Wood makes his debut in the article, and frankly it’s late.

He has scored three goals in his last four games. This week he faces a Leicester defense that has allowed more shots into the box than any other team.
