Finally! Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 owners are finally getting Wear OS 5 after months of testing

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 owners and future Galaxy Watch 5 and 4 series users are about to receive a Wear OS 5 update after months of beta testing.

This update for some of the best Android watches comes from a recent Reddit post (first discovered via Android Police) with a screencap from Samsung to a beta tester to inform them that the beta testing process is complete. Android Police reports that a new Wear OS 5 firmware update will be available “in the next few days” for Galaxy Watch 6 owners who aren’t part of the beta program.
