A woman who’s been researching how to heal her Sims characters’ burnout says she’s used the techniques on herself — and that they work on people, too.

@moonyeyed shared her experience on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said she initially researched tips while playing the video game Sims 4.

“This is borderline humiliating, but I once had to look up how to deal with burnout with Sims,” ​​she admitted in the post.

“I took a screenshot of the tips and used them on myself. It’s been two years now and I’ve finally started to get my burnout under control. Thanks to The Sims 4 Tips.”

Burnout is a feature added to The Sims 4 as part of a Growing Together expansion pack released in 2023. It mirrored real life, with characters in the game experiencing burnout symptoms when focusing on one task for long periods of time. including working, building skills or raising children.

Alongside the tweet, @moonyeyed shared a screenshot detailing the best ways to ease Sims’ burnout symptoms.
