TNA Star confirms contract expiration date

TNA Star confirms contract expiration date

One of TNA Wrestling’s stars, AJ Francis, could be leaving the promotion as his contract expires at the end of 2024.

In an exclusive interview with Cultaholic Wrestling’s Tom Campbell, Francis revealed that he would be open to re-signing with the company if a favorable deal comes through, but he is also willing to explore other options.

If the money is right and the deal is right, I would sign tomorrow evening. Currently the contract I have with TNA runs until December 31st and I’ll be open in the wild on January 1st.

He stressed his desire for a contract that reflects his value, adding:

I am 100 percent okay with the possibility of re-signing with TNA. It just has to make sense; It has to be worth what I know I am worth. Some people get bogged down by many different things when negotiating a contract; Mine is very simple. Do I think you will push me as much as I deserve and how much money will I make?”

Francis praised TNA for the career opportunities he was given, particularly acknowledging Tommy Dreamer’s faith in him when few others believed in it.

TNA did a very good job last year and gave me a lot of opportunities. I loved that Tommy Dreamer believed in me. Now everyone says, “Wow, AJ is so talented,” but when I got fired a year ago, Tommy Dreamer was the only person who believed in me.

Since his debut at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view in January, Francis has established himself as a top contender in TNA and the leader of the First Class faction. Francis, a former digital media champion, will be the final Call Your Shot Gauntlet entrant at Bound For Glory, possibly his last major appearance at the promotion.

What did TNA star AJ Francis say about a possible WWE re-entry?

TNA’s AJ Francis spoke about the possibility of his return to WWE and said that he believes it is only a matter of time before he returns to WWE. Francis previously competed for WWE under the name Top Dolla and was promoted from 2020 to 2021. He then rejoined the company after a break in 2022 until he left the company in 2023.
