Obama will campaign for Harris in Charlotte as Election Day approaches

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Former President Barack Obama will be in Charlotte Friday night, just 11 days until Election Day.

Obama’s speech is scheduled for Friday, October 25, around 6 p.m. You can watch live in the video player above at this time.

Obama will endorse Democratic nominee and current Vice President Kamala Harris as she and Donald Trump enter the home stretch of a neck-and-neck race for the White House.

During Friday’s event, Obama is also expected to encourage voters to vote early and return their mail-in ballots.

As Election Day approaches, Obama has been campaigning for Harris in other key battleground states, endorsing her shortly after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race in July.

Both Harris and Trump have made North Carolina a focal point this election. Both sides made numerous stops in various parts of the Tar Heel State.
