Ben Affleck is reportedly ready to move on after his split from Jennifer Lopez.

The former couple’s divorce, which was filed in August after months of separation, is still in the final stages.

Insiders recently told us DailyMail that the actor is now ready to date someone.

“Ben hasn’t given up on relationships and finally feels ready to move on and start dating again,” an insider told the magazine.

They added: “He won’t do anything serious until the divorce is finalized, but that doesn’t mean he can’t date.”

Additionally, a source said that Affleck, who has previously struggled with addiction issues, “only wants to date someone who is sober or in recovery.”

“The last two years have been tough for Ben and as he begins to recover, one thing is clear: his recovery is top priority. He won’t jeopardize his sobriety,” the source said.

He was also upset by news that people feared he would relapse in the face of “difficult” challenges.

“Ben tries to avoid reading the news but it upset him that people thought he had relapsed because he hadn’t. Like any alcoholic, “Ben wakes up with only one goal in mind: to stay sober that day,” an insider said.
