ULM Tennis competes against Sun Belt opponents in the Bobcat Invitational

MONROE, La. – The ULM tennis team will continue its fall schedule and travel to San Marcos, Texas, for the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Sun Belt foe Texas State. Other participating teams include Troy, Incarnate Word and St. Mary’s. There are no live scores available for the game.

The tournament opens on Saturday at 9 a.m. with 1 doubles and 2 singles. On Sunday there will be 2 doubles and 1 singles, also from 9 a.m. Play continues continuously on both days of the invitation until all games are completed. Five of ULM’s seven tennis players will participate in the two-day invitational.

At the ITA Southern Regional Championships earlier this month Vanya Cado, Lucia Jorrin Fernandez, Camila Molina Barranco And Maria Iordanova won victories in qualifying singles. Those wins included opponents such as Southern Miss, Alabama and Mississippi State.

ULM will soon face the Ragin’ Cajuns at the Ragin’ Cajun Invitational on November 1st and 2nd to close out fall tennis.
