When it was time for Munn’s award, Mulaney took the stage to present it to her.

He told the group in attendance about Munn’s breast cancer journey and how scary it was, but also how brave she was – and how much of an impact she had on other women by sharing her story.

“About a year [after learning of her diagnosis]“Olivia told her story,” he told the crowd. “Your cancer journey.” It was a cancer that was not detected by a BRCA genetic test or a mammogram. It was discovered because she took a previously unknown test called the Lifetime Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Test and found she had a 37 percent risk of breast cancer. And about a month later, she had a double mastectomy. She shared her story to help everyone she could. According to the National Cancer Institute, there was a 4,000 percent increase in the number of women participating in breast cancer risk assessment in the week after Olivia shared the story of her breast cancer journey. That was the first week. It doesn’t surprise me that Olivia is saving lives by speaking her truth.”
