Topuria and Holloway in the final clash before the UFC 308 main event

On Saturday night, in the UFC’s 20th visit to Abu Dhabi, Max Holloway will attempt to become two-time UFC featherweight champion when reigning UFC “BMF” meets unbeaten 27-year-old champion Ilia Topuria in the special attraction of a bumper at UFC 308 -Card will be broadcast live from the United Arab Emirates around the world.

And after a somewhat controversial introduction in which Topuria repeatedly invited Holloway to a brawl in the first 10 seconds of the bout, the two standout 145-pounders faced off for the final time before the cage door closes at tomorrow night’s ceremonial weigh-ins Friday – and it’s safe to say both men are set for the ultimate.

Elsewhere, co-main contenders Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev also engaged in a simmering staredown on the eve of their contest, with neither willing to cede an inch of territory to the other.
