Are you ready for the Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow?

If you can’t wait to board Naval Air Station Pensacola on November 1 and 2 to see the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angels perform for the final time of the 2024 season, then get two Days just a taste of the show earlier, as the Blues Angels and the US Air Force Thunderbirds perform a “Super Delta” formation over Pensacola.

NAS Pensacola said the joint flyover will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and will be visible along the Gulf Coast as far west as Perdido Key through Oriole Beach.

“Areas of the City of Pensacola where the ‘Super Delta’ formation will be visible during the spectacle on Wednesday, October 30 include Johnson Beach, Pensacola Beach, Oriole Beach and Palafox Street in downtown Pensacola.” says a press release from NAS Pensacola. “People traveling to these areas are advised to adhere to local traffic rules and behave courteously towards motorists and pedestrians.”

According to NAS Pensacola, the timing of the flyover may change due to weather and other conditions.

The 2024 Pensacola Homecoming Airshow is scheduled for November 1 and 2 aboard NAS Pensacola and is themed “Celebrating One Small Step” to celebrate the Apollo 11 moon landing on July 20, 1969, the first step to honor the Navy on the moon pilot Lt. jg Neil Armstrong.

According to NAS Pensacola, gates for the show open at 8 a.m. Anyone who arrives early must be turned around.
