A windy, chilly weekend before potentially record-breaking heat next week

The seasonal weather will continue on Saturday. A cold front will pass early in the day with sunshine and some gusty winds in the afternoon.


Cool weather will arrive Saturday night into Sunday with temperatures slightly below normal.

The fall chill is short-lived and we could see more record-breaking warmth by the middle of next week.

The drought period continues, with no measurable rain expected until early November.
