The date for next summer’s Lumberjack World Championship has been changed

Mark your calendars, the date for the 65th Annual Lumberjack World Championship in Hayward, Wisconsin has changed. The officials announced this on Friday. Due to scheduling conflicts with key competitive providers, the event will take place July 17-19, 2025.

Officials say the change was necessary “to ensure we continue to provide athletes and spectators with the highest quality competition.”

The Lumberjack Run will take place on championship Saturday morning, July 19th.

Athletes at the Lumberjack World Championships compete in a total of 24 events, including log rolling, boom running, sawing, chopping, ax throwing and speed climbing.
