Las Vegas community devastated by house fire that left four people dead and two injured

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A community is in turmoil after a tragic house fire in the southwestern part of the valley left four people dead.

The fire also injured two family members after they jumped out of a third-story window to escape the flames.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, but the loss has left family members and neighbors in shock and unimaginable grief.

Firefighters responded quickly to the scene, but the intensity of the fire made rescue efforts a challenge.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends affected by this tragic event,” said a fire department spokesman.

The two injured people were taken to a nearby hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.
