After dusting off an old board game, a family is transported to the year 1497. They can’t quite figure out why – until they realize they’ve become players in an all-too-real werewolf game. Can they save themselves from the deadly medieval werewolves in their midst? Director and co-writer: François Uzan (lupine), the French film Family package (Loups Garous) with Jean Reno, Franck Dubosc and Suzanne Clément. It is based on the board game The Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow.

What happens in Family package?

Jérôme Vassier (Dubosc) and his wife Marie (Clément) spend a few days with Jérôme’s father Gilbert (Reno) in the old family house in the country. They’ve brought their children Clara (Do Couto), Théo (Romand) and Louise (Caugnies), and the trip is already a bit chaotic – the elder Gilbert has trouble remembering pretty much everything about his family. and the children are difficult to classify. But everything is under control…until an earthquake hits. When they leave the house, everything around them looks completely different – and Jérôme’s eldest daughter Clara is missing. The family slowly realizes that they live in the same house, but not at the same time. They have no choice but to play the game they now live in – one that gives them special powers and requires them to hunt down the werewolves that invade the city every night. Can the Vassier family return to the present unscathed?
