LA Knight announced for triple threat match at WWE Crown Jewel

A new match for the LA Knight US Championship at Crown Jewel has been announced.

At SummerSlam 2024, LA Knight defeated Logan Paul to capture his first US Championship. Since then, Knight has defended his title multiple times. However, he now faces a completely unique challenge.

Andrade, another former United States Champion, was heavily involved in a feud against former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. The two have been against each other for a long time. On the October 25 episode of SmackDown, they faced each other for the seventh time and fought for a chance at LA Knights gold.

Towards the end of the match, chaos erupted as the two superstars began attacking each other. However, LA Knight decided to take matters into his own hands and dropped both Andrade and Hayes with two BFTs.

After ringing the bell and announcing the match as a draw, The Megastar went backstage only to be confronted by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Aldis rebuked Knight and posed a greater challenge by announcing a triple-threat United States Championship match involving Andrade and Hayes.

LA Knight now faces a triple threat match and will defend his Crown Jewel title against Carmelo Hayes and Andrade.

LA Knight wants to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania

Recently, during his appearance on Beef Vegan Presents on Rock 102.1 KFMA, LA Knight expressed his desire to face Gunther and Cody Rhodes at the upcoming WrestleMania 41.

Man, there are so many different paths you can take. I mean, I look at the fact that WrestleMania will be John Cena’s last WrestleMania. Could it be that I face John Cena for the United States Championship? I don’t know. Will I even be US champion by then? It could be that if I were writing a fantasy book, I would probably do a title against a title, me against Cody, or maybe even me against Gunther. I’m looking for the champions. I want the World Championship, I want the WWE Championship, and again for me it’s always that progression. Let’s keep going up, let’s keep moving forward.

I think we could do some special things, be it with Cena, be it with Gunther or be it with Cody. On the other hand, the crazy thing about this career, especially since I’ve been in WWE, is just that there are things that I haven’t even thought about or that I didn’t even know were an option for me that have come up have. You never know, especially between now and April, anything can happen.”
