Kate Bush is ‘very keen to start working on a new album’

Could we finally get a new one? Kate Bush Album? As they say, stranger things have happened.

In an interview with BBC Radio 4, the “Running Up That Hill” artist notes that she’s currently “busy with a lot of archive work,” including updating her website and putting together a lyric book, but once she’s done, “I “I’m very interested in starting work on a new album.”

“I have a lot of ideas and I’m really excited to get back into this creative space, it’s been a long time,” Bush says.

She adds: “Special [in] Last year I felt really ready to do something new.”

Bush’s most recent album is 2011 50 words for snow.

As for the live performances she hasn’t done since 2014, Bush says, “I’m not ready yet.” Pink Floyd‘S David GilmourA long-time friend of Bush’s, he recently made headlines when he said he “tried” to persuade her to return to the live stage.

Even the fact that Bush gave an interview is of course noteworthy, since she has long been known to be press-shy. She also took part in one in 2022 when “Running Up That Hill” was revived, which was due to placing in Stranger Things.
