Randy Orton saves Cody Rhodes from Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser on WWE SmackDown, tag match set for next Friday

A legacy remained.

Gunther and Cody Rhodes faced off on the October 25 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Gunther tried to intimidate Cody by talking about taking the fans out of the equation in their upcoming match at WWE Crown Jewel. Cody Rhodes said everything they do is about the fans.

Eventually, Gunther’s Empire teammate Ludwig Kaiser came out to attack Cody, who was about to be rescued by an old friend, Randy Orton. The former Legacy was standing tall at the end of the segment and then it was announced that a tag team match would take place on November 1st.
