Do lesbians scissor? Comedians want to end the debate

A podcast conversation reignites a classic debate: Do lesbians really scissor?

Catherine McCafferty addressed the topic on a recent episode of Pretty gay in which she chatted with fellow comedian Jordan Myrick.

“People also spread rumors that lesbians don’t scissor, which I don’t understand,” McCafferty said. “I think that’s not true.”

“It’s literally all I do,” Myrick deadpanned.

The two complained that it was obviously frustrating that even lesbians say scissoring isn’t a thing.

“I’m like, ‘What do you do then?'” Myrick replied, before blaming the greater availability of strap-ons in the Midwest.

The back and forth left viewers amused as they desperately tried to figure out if the conversation was real or if it was just a prank conversation, which actually proves pretty clearly how confused society as a whole still is about the mythology of paper cutting is.

“I don’t know what’s real and what’s satire anymore,” someone commented.

Others wanted to focus on the essentials and argued either for or against scissoring.

“I’m constantly fighting for my life because I have to explain that we are actually doing scissors,” wrote @enbysaurus. “Plus, I always have to explain what tribbing is.”

“Shit, too much work for too little pay,” replied @t_simpai, while others pointed out that it just doesn’t work for everyone.

“I feel like I’m being gaslighted,” another person admitted after watching the video.

Will this debate ever be settled? Or will the general public continue to wonder whether lesbians really scissor forever?

“Some do, others don’t care,” one viewer wrote.

And actually yeah, okay, the mystery is solved, everyone!
