Ben Affleck’s condition for his next date

A source revealed to the media outlet that Affleck’s condition is destined for the next woman he dates. Affleck was reportedly in a “difficult” state following his split from Lopez and therefore understood the importance of never jeopardizing his sobriety.

The insider told the outlet, “Ben hasn’t given up on relationships and finally feels ready to move on and start dating again.” He won’t do anything serious until the divorce is finalized, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be with someone They revealed: “He only wants to date someone who is sober or in recovery. The last two years have been hard for Ben, and as he begins to heal, one thing becomes clear: his recovery comes first. He’s not going to jeopardize his sobriety.”

Affleck reportedly turned to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner after the split because she was one of the few people who could give him advice.

Affleck’s battle with alcoholism

It was previously reported that Affleck was upset by the news that people were afraid of the actor relapsing after staying sober for quite a while. The insider said: “Ben tries to avoid reading the news but it upset him that people thought he had relapsed because he hadn’t. Like any alcoholic, Ben wakes up with a goal in mind. To stay sober that day.”

Affleck sought treatment for his alcoholism in 2001. He entered rehab again in 2017 and 2018 after Garner conducted an intervention at his home with the help of a sober trainer.
